Temples and pyramids

Chichen Itza

The best known is located between Merida and Valladolid and it is also the oldest Mayan city.

The site has been classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

You can go there with your rental car, there is paid parking and I advise you to arrive early if you want to easily find a parking space.

You can book an organized tour that you will find everywhere, whether in Cancun, Tulum, Playa Del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, there are plenty of specialized shops that will offer you all the possible excursions and I mean SHOPS and not sellers of street because it could well be a fraud.

Tulum Mayan Ruins

This site is less crowded than Chichen Itza and is located on the edge of the sea. Bring your swimsuit to cool off in a turquoise sea

Pyramid of Coba

The renown of the Coba site is largely due to the white roads. These white roads are built of stone and are the largest road network in the ancient Maya world.

You can visit on foot, take a tricycle taxi or rent a bike on site.

Other Mayan pyramids, temples and ruins

There are many sites as you can see on the Pixan Riviera map. This company is one of the few companies to offer excursions in French
